Delete Your RecruiteAI Account

In compliance with Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and Indian Digital Personal Data Protection guidelines, this page provides complete instructions and self-service tools to delete or deactivate your account and associated personal data.

How to Delete Your Account

Method 1: Inside Mobile App

Open the RecruiteAI app and log in.
Go to Profile or Settings tab.
Scroll down to the Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
Confirm your password to immediately deactivate and delete your account.

Method 2: Inside Web App

Log in at recruiteai.co.in.
Click on your Profile avatar (top right).
Select Account Settings.
Navigate to Security & Danger Zone and click Delete Account.

What Data is Removed vs. Retained

Immediately Cleared: Your active session tokens, saved resume drafts, recruiter search discovery visibility, and profile status are immediately removed from public access.
Retained for Compliance & Anti-Abuse: To prevent exploitation of free-tier resume generation quotas and to comply with tax/statutory financial audit regulations (e.g., GST records on Razorpay purchases), invoice records and quota timestamps are retained in a secured, de-identified soft-deactivated state.
Account Restoration: Should you wish to return using the same email, your account can be reactivated securely via an OTP sent to your registered email.
